“I AM BECAUSE YOU ARE”.

“I AM BECAUSE YOU ARE”.

Dear Mommy,

my heart is heavy with the weight of words that feel both impossible and necessary to say. It’s surreal that you’re no longer here with us, but I take comfort in knowing that your unconditional love and spirit will always be apart of me.

From the very beginning, you were my everything—my guide, my protector, my greatest cheerleader. You taught me how to walk, talk, and navigate the world with grace and courage. Your wisdom and kindness were the foundation upon which I built my life, and I am forever grateful for the countless lessons you imparted.

I remember the little things most vividly—the warmth of your hugs, the sound of your laughter, and the way you always knew how to make everything better. You had a remarkable ability to fill even the simplest moments with joy and love. Your strength and resilience were awe-inspiring, and you faced every challenge with a grace that left me in constant admiration.

You were not just my mother; you were my best friend. You understood me in ways that no one else ever could, and your support was unwavering, even when times were tough. You celebrated my victories and held me through my defeats, always reminding me that I was loved and capable of overcoming any obstacle.

I want you to know that your legacy lives on in everything I do. Your love is woven into the fabric of my being, and your values guide me every day. I promise to carry forward the lessons you taught me and to live a life that would make you proud.

Thank you, Mommy, for being the extraordinary person you were. Thank you for your endless love, your boundless patience, and your unwavering belief in me. I am who I am today because of you, and I will carry your love with me for the rest of my life.

Rest in peace, my beautiful, amazing mother. You will be missed more than words can express, but I find solace in knowing that you are now at peace. Until we meet again, I will hold you in my heart and cherish every wonderful memory we shared.

With all my love,

Tyra Anea Ross
